Design Foundations

Your AI stops guessing at spacing and hierarchy and starts making the calls a designer would, so what it builds looks intentional, not assembled.

What this skill does

The judgment calls that make a layout feel right, written as rules an agent can actually follow. Hierarchy, spacing, alignment, and knowing when to stop.

  • Makes hierarchy, spacing, and alignment calls the way a designer would, with rules instead of guesses
  • Covers typography, color, borders, shadows, and layout as paired right/wrong decisions
  • Audits an existing screen to find why it looks off, then fixes it
  • Handles the supporting elements too, from button hierarchy and empty states to error messages and microcopy
